High-tech R&D in Douglas County

Chambers recently completed construction of the latest expansion of the Glide, Oregon campus for Caddock Electronics, a R & D leader in performance resistors. The 30,000 square foot, single-story structure was designed to match the first two buildings built for Caddock. Due to the manufacturing and prototyping work conducted a Caddock, a sizeable electrical service was brought to the site in Glide. Through weekly job meetings with the design team, the project schedule, critical path dates for owner supplied equipment and quality control on building systems were kept in the forefront of everyone involved the project. The opening of the facility marks the latest return of high-wage jobs to Douglas County. Caddock is a family owned and operated business in a competitive industry.
