Market District CommonsAffordable housing for Lane County veteransIn 2014, Chambers Construction was selected as the CM/GC for Homes for Good’s Market District Commons project. The project broke ground in Spring 2019 and completed construction toward the end of 2020.
Born from a community vision, Market District Commons provides supportive housing in a location ideal for both the residents and the surrounding community. The project’s site gives residents sustainable downtown living and access to goods and services, public transportation, recreation, and work opportunities. Market District Commons is a mixed-use project that includes both commercial space and 50 apartments built to the latest green standards, achieving Earth Advantage’s platinum certification for multifamily housing.
